Studio Nights - October

Art Parties for Everyone: Every Second and Fourth Wednesday at 6:30

All skill levels welcome

$30 monthly fee : goes towards the space, materials, sets/models, and snacks/refreshments.

October Meetings:

🌟October 8th: Introducing paper mache! This is a form of 3D paper arts where you use paper and glue to build up a structure. Studio Nights are open ended, so, it’s up to you whether you would like to build up your project from scratch or if you’d like to take this evening to decoupage on an already existing object. This will be the perfect opportunity to make a decoration or accessory for halloween as well so feel free to bring anything in to work off of! (Personally, I think I’ll be making myself a vintage inspired trick-or-treating bucket, using a thin plastic trick-or-treat pumpkin as the base to build off of.)

🌟October 22nd: Candle decorating is back again in time for a cozy autumn! We’ll provide candle sticks, pressed flowers, paints, and other colored waxes to melt and paint with. It’s going to be a warm little candlelit gathering full of experimenting with these methods. No need to bring anything this night except your own creativity.

Also exciting news!! This month, to save a little moola, you can purchase October through December membership as a bundle 💃🤸🏽‍♀️🕺 This saves you $10 and the hassle of worrying about us selling out ;)

FAQ’S

  • Studio Nights are art events for the community: all skill levels are invited. The art parties last roughly two hours, but feel free to come late or leave early; stay true to your creative process. We will have limited art materials available for use and largely consider this as BYOP (bring your own paper hehe). Come expecting snacks, beverages, and to be immersed in a creative environment complete with a myriad of engaging studio sets, lights, music, materials, anything to play with the senses.

  • To stay flexible to everyone’s creative journey, you will only have to commit to one month at a time. Seats are limited, though, and previous attendees will get notified 24 hours in advance about the new month’s opening.

    As of 2025 there is now an Annual Pass! This saves you a whopping $100 rather than purchasing a monthly ticket. (Art) Party on!

  • Unfortunately, to gauge attendance and materials, only those who are signed up are able to attend the meetings.

  • To treat this like a working studio space, we prefer no outside food. Please try your best to bring beverages in a container with a secure lid to avoid mishaps. We will make sure to have plenty of snack and drink options available for y’all.

  • Please, bring any materials you would like to use to express yourself, no need to share anything that you bring (unless you want to, that is). Sketchbooks, paper, canvas, watercolor sets, pastels; we welcome it all.

    If you don’t have supplies at home, still come enjoy the night out. We will have some introductory supplies available.

  • Espacio is located on the second story of a courtyard shopping center. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator and can only be accessed by stairs.

    We are accepting to all walks of life here. No hate speech or acts will be tolerated :)

    Although the host, Brooke, only speaks English we have many bilingual attendees and hope that a language barrier never holds any creatives back from joining the party.
