Studio Nights - February

$30.00

Art Parties for Everyone: Every Second and Fourth Wednesday at 6:30

All skill levels welcome

Hosted by: Brooke (brookeriley.art)

$30 monthly fee : goes towards the space, materials, sets/models, and snacks/refreshments.

February Meetings:

🌟February 11th: Year three and we’re still hosting some first time crafts 💃🕺I’m AMAZED. This time we’ll be experimenting with needle felting! It’s a process of agitating wool fibers to build up a design. I’ll provide sheets of felt to use as our “canvas” per se, but feel free to bring any wool sweater/sock/beanie etc that you feel compelled to work onto. You’re also able to make cute lil felt figurines with this method!

🌟February 25th: We’re closing out February with a cozy fiber arts session. Felting is a type of fiber arts so you are more than welcome to continue your project from the previous session. Additionally, I’ll have the entire Studio Nights collection of fiber arts materials available! Thread, yarn, crochet hooks, embroidery needles, etc. I have some general knowledge in fiber arts techniques and will help guide as much as possible, but will also be compiling tutorials for group reference.

((psssst this could be the perfect month to make some cute patch appliques to spice up your clothing and accessories this 2026))

FAQ’S

  • Studio Nights are art events for the community: all skill levels are invited. The art parties last roughly two hours, but feel free to come late or leave early; stay true to your creative process. We will have limited art materials available for use and largely consider this as BYOP (bring your own paper hehe). Come expecting snacks, beverages, and to be immersed in a creative environment complete with a myriad of engaging studio sets, lights, music, materials, anything to play with the senses.

  • To stay flexible to everyone’s creative journey, you will only have to commit to one month at a time. Seats are limited, though, and previous attendees will get notified 24 hours in advance about the new month’s opening.

As of 2025 there is now an Annual Pass! This saves you a whopping $100 rather than purchasing a monthly ticket. (Art) Party on!

  • Unfortunately, to gauge attendance and materials, only those who are signed up are able to attend the meetings.

  • To treat this like a working studio space, we prefer no outside food. Please try your best to bring beverages in a container with a secure lid to avoid mishaps. We will make sure to have plenty of snack and drink options available for y’all.

  • Please, bring any materials you would like to use to express yourself, no need to share anything that you bring (unless you want to, that is). Sketchbooks, paper, canvas, watercolor sets, pastels; we welcome it all.

If you don’t have supplies at home, still come enjoy the night out. We will have some introductory supplies available.

  • Espacio is located on the second story of a courtyard shopping center. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator and can only be accessed by stairs.

We are accepting to all walks of life here. No hate speech or acts will be tolerated :)

Although the host, Brooke, only speaks English we have many bilingual attendees and hope that a language barrier never holds any creatives back from joining the party.
